Mindfulness @ Work
It’s time to work consciously, not harder
Having worked for several years as a project leader in a renowned international architecture firm I understand the immense pressure that comes with working in a corporate environment. The one thing I came to understand during my time in a corporate environment is that pushing for sheer ambition and hard work is not a sustainable strategy for an excellent business anymore, let alone for the employees.
Great and purposeful work is done by people who are highly present, who notice opportunities and problems as they arise, who are in touch with their bodies, who can determine and communicate their boundaries, who feel connected to the purpose of their work, who are emotionally intelligent and who are able to self-reflect. Minfulness lays the foundation for all these qualities to unfold in everyone,
To be working mindfully is to be fully present with ourselves, eachother and our work.

A sense that what we do is never enough
Lack of focus, many unfinished tasks
Lack of self-reflection
Mindfull work

Depending on the characteristics, wishes and needs of your firm I am happy to tailor a mindfulness program that fits perfectly. That said, here are the basic ingredients:
-
Introduction course: 4 x 1 hour workshop
To provide a basic and experiential understanding of mindfulness I offer each firm a 4 week introduction course to mindfulness. After the course each employee will have a taste of what mindful work is like and has acquired the tools nescessary to put this experience into practice.
-
Regular weekly sessions
After the introduction course, you might like to offer your employees weekly mindfulness sessions in order to keep the momentum going and provide support for employee wellbeing
-
Management clinics
Mindfulness has a trickle down effect. When the management of an organisation engages mindfully, the employees will naturally follow their example. Trough mindful leadership one can lead from example instead of fear. The management clinics are meant for executives who wish to enrich their leadership qualities with mindfulness
